From its conception, Miles of Seamless Gutter, Inc. has been a member of the Virginia Association of Roofing Contractors and the National Roofing Contractors Association.  It is my privilege and honor to have been elected President of the Virginia Association of Roofing Contractors for 2009.  We also hold memberships in the Better Business Bureau, Tidewater Builders Association, and the Builders and Contractors Exchange. 

I  grew up in the South Norfolk and Indian River sections of Chesapeake, Virginia working in a family owned and operated roofing business.  At that time, gutters were made with a hand-brake; of course now we use extruding machines and gutters are run out in custom lengths at the job site.  I began Miles of Seamless Gutter, Inc. in 1989 with one gutter machine and two helpers; my wife, Evelyn, joined me in the business in 1996.  Since opening, our company has grown steadily due to a business philosophy that is anchored in customer satisfaction.

Evelyn and I married in 1979 and raised her two children together.  We have lived in the Great Neck/Shore Drive area of Virginia Beach since then, and the children attended John B. Dey Elementary and Cox High School; we are members of  Francis Asbury United Methodist Church.  Our roots are in Tidewater and you may count on us to remain an active part of the area’s construction industry community.
